Two ways to use

The Calibur wireless fencing scoring system is the most flexible of them all. You can either use tablets or smartphones with our free app for scoring, or you can upgrade your traditional scoring machines with our Relay unit, making your fencing hall completely wireless.
Calibur lets you train at home, take a warm-up strip to competitions, or make live fencing demos in your city to gain new members for your club.

FAQ

Where can I try your devices?

In our office or at tournaments in Budapest or at our distributors' shops. In addition, we offer money-back guarantee within 30 days with no questions asked, so you can try it at home without taking any risks.

Do I need internet connection to use them?

No, score validation happens locally, but leaderboards and other smart features might need an active connection.

Does it work for épée/foil/sabre?

Yes, all 3 disciplines are supported. However, for sabre, each fencer is required to have an armband set.

How accurate is your device?

Based on our customers' feedback, it is suitable for professional-level épée training and for advanced level foil and sabre training.

Why are you doing this?

We want to make fencing more accessible to people with our tech. We are a team of fencing enthusiast engineers. Scoring is a burden on fencers/clubs and there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Does your system support iOS and Android?

Yes. We support both of the major platforms.

How do you update the devices?

We release regular updates for the app. The Pocket Boxes and Relays boxes can be updated by the app.

How much does the set weigh?

Ca 60g/pocket box (including batteries) plus smartphone/ tablet.

How long do the batteries last?

The Pocket Boxes last for 12-20 hours of fencing. If they run low you can recharge via USB-C, and their batteries are easily replaceable with a screwdriver.

How long is the charging?

It takes around 90 minutes.

How durable is the Pocket Box?

We have stepped on them without any harm. However it's not recommended to try.

Is there a calibration routine before you fence?

No. No calibration is required, you can fence as you plug in.

Are they FIE graded devices?

Not yet. We are working on it.
