Moving everything required for regular fencing scoring machines to a summer camp, a school gym, or a public demo is a real logistical headache. To make things worse, school holidays or events can suddenly close your venue, forcing you to pack up everything and move elsewhere. Calibur solves all these problems by making your equipment completely mobile. Our wireless system is incredibly compact and lightweight, which means you can store and create multiple pistes straight from a simple backpack.

The setup is incredibly fast, you can set up a fencing strip in less than 30 seconds. Since there are no moving mechanical parts like traditional reels, there is literally no maintenance required apart from charging the Pocket Boxes overnight. You just turn it on, connect it to a phone, a tablet, or a traditional scoreboard, and focus on the training.

To provide a more accurate picture, we ran the numbers. A 5-piste regular fencing hall set-up with reels and scoring machines, without metal strips weighs around 82 kgs, takes up 217500 cm³s of space and costs around 5965 € (net). For comparison, a 5-piste Calibur set-up (10 Pocket Boxes and 5 new Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 tablets) weighs 2.8 kgs, takes up 5915 cm³s, and costs around 3318 € (net).

Imagine arriving at a local school or a public demo with just a handbag.
