We became fencers first, and builders second, and that perspective shapes everything we do. Having experienced the sport firsthand, we understood the frustrations fencers face and knew exactly where we can make a meaningful difference. As engineers, designers, and athletes, we pour that experience into every iteration, investing heavily in research and development to push accuracy and simplicity forward. We’re driven not just by innovation, but by a genuine love for the sport and a belief that fencers deserve equipment worthy of their dedication.

CEO & Founder
Tibi is the visionary behind Calibur. As an engineer with over 20 years of competitive fencing experience, the idea for the company was born from his own passions and the desire to modernize the sport he loves. As CEO, he leads the team with a deep understanding of what fencers truly need, turning a personal mission into a global solution for the fencing community.
Roland
Marketing & Strategic Planning
Roland manages our marketing activities and plays a key role in business and strategic planning. As a fencer, he continues to draw immense value and inspiration from the sport in his daily life. This lifelong connection to fencing allows him to bridge the gap between business strategy and the authentic needs of our athletes.
Karesz
Electrical Engineer
Karesz is the technical mind responsible for bringing our products to life. As an Electrical Engineer, he oversees the hardware integrity of Calibur’s devices. His precision and dedication ensure that our technology is not only innovative but also durable and reliable for every bout.
Csaba
Software Developer
Csaba is the architect of our digital experience. As our Lead Programmer, he focuses on developing and refining the Calibur applications. He works tirelessly to ensure that our software is intuitive, fast, and provides the seamless data tracking that modern fencers and coaches rely on.
Reka
Marketing Intern
As a Marketing Intern, Reka focuses on our visual design and helps manage our communication across different platforms. She works closely on the look of the Calibur brand to keep our materials consistent. She helps ensure that our message reaches the audience in a clear and effective way.

Commitment to quality and fairness

Our goal is to make fencing more accessible and enjoyable for everyone by creating modern, easy-to-use technology. We stand by this by helping you stay up-to-date: when we release a new version of your device, you can trade in your old one. We then work with the FIE to donate these devices to emerging fencing countries, supporting the sport’s growth together.

Our Vision

With over 2,500 Calibur units in 50 countries and thousands of touches registered daily, we are growing alongside a global community of fencers. Our vision for 2026 is to push the boundaries of our technology by introducing piste grounding on épée, creating dedicated charging stations for Pocket Boxes, and further refining our accuracy based on your feedback. We believe in evolving with the sport to ensure that every touch is captured perfectly.
